Continuous User Experience Monitoring of a Patient-completed Preoperative Assessment System in The United Kingdom: Cross-sectional Study (Preprint)

Background: Anesthetic preoperative assessment (POA) is now a common part of the surgical care pathway, and guidelines support its routine use. MyPreOp (Ultramed Ltd) web-based POA system that enables remote assessments. Usability key factor in success digital health solutions. Objective: This study aims to assess usability through patient feedback, investigate amount time it took for patients complete questionnaire factors influenced completion time, explore effect on times implementing validated eHealth scale, as compared using simple but unvalidated evaluation test feasibility administering more detailed scale staggered manner so not unduly increase times. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, anonymized data sets were extracted from system.
